LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County remained the same for the second consecutive day today at $4.078, its highest amount since July 31, 2015.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 59.3 cents higher than one month ago and 44.5 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.048, its highest amount since July 31, 2015. It has decreased for two straight days, including two-tenths of a cent Sunday, after increasing for 32 of the previous 33 days.
The Orange County average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago, 60.4 cents higher than one month ago and 45.2 cents greater than one year ago.
