Police Pulls Over Teenager, Then Later Helps Him Get A Job

Every once in awhile, there's a story that will just make you smile from ear to ear.

This is one of those stories.

An Illinois police officer made a difference in a young man's life and it truly is a story for the ages.

Officer Roger Gemoules was on his daily patrol and saw a teenage boy driving a vehicle with a busted window and expired license plates.

Following the law, the cop pulled over the boy, Kshawn Ballwin, for his driving mistakes.

Once pulled over Baldwin explained that he knew he shouldn't have been driving the car but was currently on his way to an interview at FedEx.

After hearing his story, Officer Germoules decided to follow Ballwin home and take him to his job interview.

"Something came upon me. Whatever it was, God said 'give him a little break,' so that's what I did," Germoules said.

After this instance, Ballwin is now employed at FedEx and the officer is glad he made a good connection to his community.
