I guess you could say these cookies were a little poopy?
Bo Cosens and Rachel Sharrock of Uhrichsville are facing felony contamination charges after they attempted to give spiked sugar cookies to people in a union picket line. According to the local police, the cookies allegedly had a laxative baked into them.
The couple is thought to have been angered by teachers who were having union picket lines at a elementary school, which was right across from their home. Police say the couple did not deliver the cookies themselves, but were delivered by a friend.
They were busted after a Facebook video showed the couple baking the supposed laxative-spiked sugar cookies, with the video said to have shown them talking about the delivery of them to the strikers.
A union official for the teachers thankfully said that none of the strikers ate any of the cookies, which are now in police possession.
Cosens and Sharrock are now each facing $1 million bond.
Check out this video of the couple appearing in court.
