GLENDORA (CNS) - Three boys were arrested today for allegedly making a criminal threat against their middle school in Glendora, according to a newspaper report.
No details were immediately available about the specifics of the threat or how it came to authorities' attention, but according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, it was made against Goddard Middle School at 859 Sierra Madre Ave.
Robert Voors, superintendent of the Glendora Unified School District, told parents in an email that the district learned Sunday that the students were suspected of making “threatening comments at school about school violence,” and that a check of social media turned up posts that raised concerns, according to The Tribune.
The three boys were arrested on suspicion of making a criminal threat and were later released to their parents, Glendora Police Department Sgt. Jason Tibbetts told the newspaper.
