President Trump Applauds Cher for Her Immigration Tweet

President Trump is working hard to control the immigration crisis at the United States southern border.

Last week he announced he was considering releasing migrants in sanctuary cities in an apparent jab at Democratic leaders.

But one person chimed in over the weekend, to the surprise of Mr. Trump, to emphasize the problem going on in the states while other leaders worry about issues in other countries.

The "I Got You Babe" legendary singer Cher tweeted: “I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN. WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS. PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY?” Cher wrote in a tweet on Sunday. “If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More.”

Many Twitter users showed their support for the singer, agreeing with her stance while Trump himself announced he 'finally' agrees with her too.

Trump also tweeted Monday that his proposal to send migrants to the sanctuary cities will take effect.
