A handful of women have come forward in the last week, accusing former vice-president Joe Biden of inappropriate contact.
NOw, two more women are alleging Biden touched them in an inappropriate and unwanted manner.
Caitlyn Caruso told the New York Times Biden rested his hand on her thigh- 'even as she squirmed in her seat to show discomfort'- and hugged her "just a little bit too long" at an event on sexual assault at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas when she was 19.
“It doesn’t even really cross your mind that such a person would dare perpetuate harm like that,” she said. “These are supposed to be people you can trust,” Caruso told the Times.
Another women stated she met Biden in 2012 at a fundraising event in Minneapolis when the vice president 'put his hand on her shoulder and then started dropping it down her back, which made her "very uncomfortable.'"
In a statement Sunday, Biden said:
“In my many years on the campaign trail and in public life, I have offered countless handshakes, hugs, expressions of affection, support and comfort. And not once — never — did I believe I acted inappropriately. If it is suggested I did so, I will listen respectfully. But it was never my intention.”
Biden has yet to change his statement now that two more women have come forward.
