NorCal Man's Nine Dogs Attacked Two Women

My dogs are very nice. They don't bite, I promise.

I imagine that's what one Northern California dog owner tried to say in court about his 13 dogs that have caused him problems for years.

While Peter Ricca was in court answering to more than ten dog-related infractions and misdemeanors, nine of his dogs were on the loose in his neighborhood. His dog problems are from biting incidents, lacking rabies shots, and pet registrations.

The dogs attacked two people -- one of which was supposed to be watching them for Ricca. They both had to be rushed to the hospital.

When the court heard about what was happening, Ricca went with officers to see what was going on.

The dogs are described as black Labrador retriever-pit bull mixes.

The dogs are in county custody.
