Aladdin is one of Disney's most beloved films. Along with many of Disney's other beloved classics such as Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, a live-action remake is coming out soon. The movie will be starring Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and most importantly, Will Smith as the Genie. The first trailer that was released a few months ago received some...interesting responses:
People took issue with the look of Will Smith as Genie. This was of particular concern because the original Genie was played by the late, great Robin Williams.
However, earlier on Tuesday, Disney released a second trailer. This trailer features more of the story and a Will Smith who is not completely blue. It also features the most famous song from the original, A Whole New World and people are more excited than ever.
