The Mar Vista Road Diet Is a Failure

The Mar Vista road diet on Venice Blvd has caused nothing but problems for drivers despite what the Los Angeles Department of Transportation claims.

LADOT says collision numbers are down and traffic volume has returned to "pre-project levels."

However, statistics presented by John Russo of Keep LA Moving beg to differ.

According to Keep LA Moving, accidents actually increased 19% in the 12 months after the road diet and injury accidents were up by 25%. LADOT also says business is booming on Venice Blvd when in fact in 2018 21 businesses have closed permanently or relocated off Venice Blvd.

Mr. Russo will be joining the show at 3:00 p.m. with more on the lies the city is telling its residents who are not fans of the aggravating road diet implemented in 2017.
