A Denmark man went to a hospital for a chronic stuffy nose and total loss of sense of smell.
After getting scanned, a mass was found in the man's nasal cavity, which doctors believed was a normal cyst.
However, when doctors went to remove the mass they didn't find a cyst...
Instead they found a TOOTH.
A report on the rare case was published in BMJ Case Reports says:
"It can resemble other diseases such as chronic rhinosinusitis. Surgical removal is recommended to confirm the diagnosis and eliminate symptoms."
An explanation for rogue tooth has yet to be discovered.
