Today, Edward Donell Thomas was charged with murder for the kidnapping and death of William Tillett, an 11-year-old Inglewood boy.
The Inglewood Police Department arrested the 50 year-old Pomona resident last week for his connection with the murder. He is currently being held at the Los Angeles County Jail without bail. The police have not released how they have linked Thomas to the killing.
The kidnapping occurred on May 24, 1990 when William Tillett, a then fourth-grader, was walking home from school in the area of Imperial Highway and Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood.
Listen below to the interview with Rayshon Brown, a friend of William Tillett, about the arrest.
