American Airlines Flight Attendants Want Investigation into "Sexist" Video

A union that represents flight attendants for American Airlines is demanding that the company investigate a video deemed sexist.

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants said the skit, originally shared on Twitter, is demeaning.

In it, women are dressed as flight attendants and sing and dance for a man who was portraying an Executive Platinum customer. 

The dance was set to "Big Spender" and the union says the video promotes:

"Sex appeal as an attraction to AA's most prominent and lucrative passengers." 

The skit was apart ogThe skit was part of a fundraising event that was filmed at a private residence and in a statement made by company spokesman Ross Feinstein:

"What was portrayed in the skit was not sanctioned by the airline and is not representative of the 27,000 professional flight attendants who take great care of millions of customers each year."
