A suspect has been shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting early Thursday morning. The incident took place at the 7th Street/Metro Center station in downtown Los Angeles at about 7a.m., authorities report.
A witness says that the suspect, a man in his 30's or 40's, was holding a knife and was asked to drop his weapon by officers which he refused to do.
No officers are reported as being injured.
