LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.2 cents to $3.313.
The average price has risen 5.5 cents over the past six days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The increases follow an eight-day streak of decreases totaling 5 cents that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018.
The average price is 4.9 cents more than one week ago but 3.8 cents less than one month ago and 14.4 cents lower than one year ago.
The Orange County average price rose 1.3 cents to $3.295. It has risen five of the past six days, increasing 6.8 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. The increases follow an eight-day streak of decreases totaling 5 cents that dropped the Orange County average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018.
The Orange County average price is 6.5 cents more than one week ago but 1.4 cents less than one month ago and 13.2 cents lower than one year ago.
