Authorities Investigating Two Deaths In Glendale Area

GLENDALE (CNS) - Authorities today were investigating the deaths of two men in the Glendale area.

The first death was reported about 3:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on Northwoods Lane near Pennsylvania Avenue, said Glendale police Sgt. Dan Suttles.

A man in his 50s was found dead at the location, Suttles said. Information was not immediately released on the cause of death.

About 45 minutes later, a man was found dead at the juncture of the Ventura (134) Freeway and the Glendale (2) Freeway, Suttles said. That man, also in his 50s, appeared to have committed suicide by jumping from an overcrossing, Suttles said.

The names of the dead men were withheld, pending family notifications.

Detectives were working to determine if there was a connection between the two men, who may have been brothers, Suttles said.
