LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.258.
The average price has decreased for eight consecutive days, dropping 5 cents, including 1.4 cents on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.5 cents less than one week ago, 13.3 cents lower than one month ago and 17.4 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price also dropped to its lowest amount since Jan. 20, 2018, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.227. It has also dropped eight consecutive days, decreasing 5 cents, including 1.4 cents on Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 4.2 cents less than one week ago, 12.2 cents lower than one month ago and 18.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
