LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today for the 21st consecutive day, decreasing a half-cent to $3.294, its lowest amount since Jan. 23, 2018.
The average price has dropped 13.4 cents over the past 21 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.4 cents less than one week ago and 12.8 cents lower than one month ago but 4.8 cents higher than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 22, 2018, falling nine-tenths of a cent to $3.252, the 26th decrease in 27 days.
The Orange County average price has dropped 16.4 cents over the past 27 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. It dropped for 23 consecutive days, was unchanged Sunday and resumed decreasing on Monday.
The Orange County average price is 3.5 cents less than one week ago and 12.4 cents lower than one month ago but 4.5 cents higher than one year ago.
