LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was at its highest amount to close a year since 2013 today, $3.391.
The average price has dropped 10 of the past 11 days, including one- tenth of a cent on Monday, to its lowest amount since Jan. 28, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4.2 cents less than one week ago and 19.1 cents lower than one month ago but 24 cents higher than one year ago.
The Orange County average price was also at its highest amount to close a year since 2013, $3.349, despite dropping for 11 consecutive days, including a half-cent on Monday, to its lowest amount since Jan. 27.
The Orange County average price is 3.6 cents less than one week ago and 17.7 cents less than one month ago but 23.1 cents higher than one year ago.
