Didn't Buy Your Spouse A Christmas Gift? It's O.K., Neither Did Trump

You've still got a few more hours to shop if you have some last minute gifts to buy before Christmas... But would you dare go without buying your spouse or loved one anything at all?! Many wouldn't.

But President Donald Trump? He said he's always been a "bad-present person".

“Everyone gives me presents,” he told Page Six in 2005, “and I never open them. I’m like a bad-present person.”

In addition to being bad at receiving gifts, he said he also isn't very good at giving them. According to reports, Trump and his wife Melania have a long history of not exchanging gifts for the holidays.

“Melania says he’s next to impossible to buy for,” a source close to her told Hollywood Life. “Often they don’t exchange gifts at all for Christmas.”

This year, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will spend Christmas together in Washington DC, due to the federal budget issues and recent government shutdown. The couple and their families customarily spend their holidays at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“The dynamics are interesting, but it all works out fairly well,” Don Jr. said about their family holidays in 2008. “When I was little, as unconventional as my family is, I don’t know that our Christmas was that different other than that we were on the top of Trump Tower,” he added.
