LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 1 cent today to $3.438, one day after dropping nine-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, 21.4 cents lower than one month ago, and 34.4 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 28.7 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped 1.2 cents to $3.394, one day after dropping 1 cent. It is 2 cents more than one week ago, 20.6 cents lower than one month ago, and 35.1 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 27.5 cents since the start of the year.
