WESTMINSTER (CNS) - Police have released surveillance images of four suspects responsible for a smash-and-grab robbery in Westminster.
The robbery at Jean's Jewelry, at 9100 Bolsa Ave. inside the Asian Garden Mall, occurred at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to Sgt. Phuong Pham of the Westminster Police Department.
Four men entered the store while employees were working and used hammers to smash jewelry cases before fleeing with an unknown amount of merchandise, Pham said.
All four suspects were described as black men.
One suspect was 18-20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds and wore a black beanie, multicolor windbreaker jacket, black pants, checkered shoes and gloves with a diamond-shape design.
A second suspect was described as 20-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds and wearing a gray Champion hoodie with a “C” on the chest, jeans, checkered shoes and gloves with a diamond-shape design.
A third suspect was described as 20-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds and wearing a dark navy blue zip-up sweater, black Adidas track pants and similar gloves as the ones wore by the first two suspects. He also carried a blue duffel bag.
The fourth suspect was described as 18-20 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140 pounds and wearing a gray hooded Nike sweatshirt, black pants, checkered shoes and black gloves with no design. He was holding a dark cheetah print backpack.
