Trump Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame Vandalized Again

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Police today were investigating another incident of vandalism of President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The star was defaced about 9 a.m. Wednesday by an unidentified man who used a marker to draw swastikas on the star, along with obscenities. posted video of the vandalism in progress, captured via its live stream feed on Hollywood Boulevard.

“You can see a man dressed in black bend down and scribble all over Trump's star ... in broad daylight,” TMZ reported. “He does the deed quickly as people walk right by him without batting an eyelash, but two women seem to notice the tagging as he walks away. There appears to be a message written out that says, “F*** This P**o" ... with two big swastikas drawn in underneath.”

The star has been vandalized a number of other times, including in September, when a street artist attached “prison bars” atop the star with double-sided tape.

In November, a Glendale man pleaded no contest to a felony count of vandalism for smashing the star with a pickaxe in July. Austin Mikel Clay, 24, was sentenced to 20 days community labor and three years probation, along with ordering him to attend psychological counseling and to pay more than $9,400 in restitution to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

In October 2016, a man dressed as a construction worker smashed the star with a pickaxe and sledgehammer. James Otis pleaded no contest to felony vandalism in February 2017 and was sentenced to three years probation, 20 days of community service and agreed to pay $4,400 for the damage.
