LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.457, one day after its largest increase since Jan. 5.
The average price is 2 cents more than one week ago and 36.5 cents higher than one year ago but 20.5 cents less than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 30.7 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.416, one day after its largest increase since Jan. 5, 3.3 cents. It is 3.8 cents more than one week ago and 38.1 cents higher than one year ago but 19.3 cents less than one month ago. It has risen 30 cents since the start of the year.
