Would-Be Home Invasion Suspects Caught On Video

COVINA (CNS) - Police today were investigating an attempted home invasion robbery in Covina. 

Two men, both wearing hoodies and with bandanas covering their faces, approached a home in the 1500 block of East Algrove Street about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Covina Police Department.

``One of the men was armed with a chrome revolver while the other held brass knuckles in his right fist and a tire iron in his left hand,'' according to a police statement. 

``The men knocked on the door and were captured by a video doorbell. The resident inside saw the armed men and called the police. The men continued knocking for approximately a minute before fleeing to a white panel van.''Police said the van was last seen heading east toward Starglen Drive.
