Woman Arrested After Dumping Hot Grease on Victim During Argument

(Charlene Thompson: Hamilton County Jail)

A woman in Cincinnati has been arrested after dumping hot grease on another woman during an argument.

According to an affidavit obtained by WLWT, Charlene Thompson, 61, is facing charges of felonious assault and was scheduled to be arraigned early Wednesday.

The attack occurred on Sunday at a residence in the 5100 block of Hawaiian Terrace, leaving the victim with severe burns to her back and arms.

Thompson was also being sought by police in connection to two outstanding warrants for criminal damaging or endangering, WXIX reports

Thompson allegedly has an extensive criminal history, including charges of assault and other crimes in March 2008 after police said she punched a victim in the face. She was also charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated in 2008 and was accused of kicking a police officer in Cincinnati and spitting on an officer during an incident in July 2008.

Even more charges include a 2007 charge after Thompson entered an assisted living facility without authorization and assaulted a resident and in 2006, she was hit with domestic violence charges for allegedly striking her daughter on Christmas Eve.

Most of the older charges noted above were all dismissed.
