HJTA Report Card Reveals Taxpayer Allies and Foes

Back in 2007, a useful tool was introduced to taxpayers, the annual legislative Report Card published by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

The Report Card documents how lawmakers have voted on the issues most important to taxpayers, keeping the public aware.

HJTA’s 2018 scorecard featured a list of 11 bills, which clearly identifies which legislators are here to help the taxpayers and who really isn't looking out for their best interest.

In 2017, 77 legislators failed the scorecard and only 13 received a perfect score in 2018.

You can view the 2018 Legislative Report Card at www.hjta.org. Scores can be found under "Hot Topics." See for yourself which legislators elected into office received a less than noteworthy grade.

Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association President Jon Coupal joined the show with more information.
