Arrest Made in UCLA-Area Exposure Case

WESTWOOD (CNS) - A 40-year-old man on probation suspected of repeatedly exposing himself to students near UCLA was arrested today.

The incidents occurred at varying times and days of the week between Aug. 30 and Wednesday in the area of Midvale Avenue between Strathmore Drive and Gayley Avenue, according to the UCLA Police Department Lt. Kevin Kilgore.

The suspect was seen masturbating in a vehicle after asking to speak with female pedestrians, according to Kilgore, who said all the victims were UCLA students.

A sketch of the suspect was distributed to the news media on Tuesday and police arrested suspect Anton Floyd on Thursday near the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Calvert Street in Van Nuys, Kilgore said.

“Floyd was booked for six counts of indecent exposure and one probation violation,” Kilgore said, adding that the suspect's bail was set at $70,000.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about Floyd or other exposure incidents was urged to call UCLA Police Department detectives at (310) 825-9371.
