Southland Gas Prices Drop Slightly Again

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $3.874, one day after decreasing two-tenths of a cent.

The average price has dropped for three consecutive days and is nine- tenths of a cent less than one week ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, it is 20.5 cents more than one month ago and 81.7 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 72.4 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped six-tenths of a cent today to $3.82, one day after decreasing three-tenths of a cent. It has dropped for four consecutive days and is 1.6 cents less than one week ago. However, it is 20.9 cents more than one month ago and 79.8 cents higher than one year ago. The Orange County average price has risen 70.4 cents since the start of the year.
