Authorities Ask For Public's Help Locating University Bike Thieves

LA MIRADA (CNS) - Authorities today released photos of two men each suspected of stealing a bicycle from Biola University and asked for the public's help to track them down.

The first man walked onto the campus located at 13800 Biola Ave., around noon on Oct. 2 and stole a specialized Hardrocker 29er bicycle with red and silver accents that was cable-locked to a bike rack, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Norwalk Station.

The second suspect was spotted on surveillance video around 7 a.m. on Oct. 2 using bolt cutters to cut off the lock of a gray and blue Giant Talon bike, the statement said.
