COSTA MESA (CNS) - Police in Costa Mesa today sought the public's help in identifying a man suspected of exposing himself to a girl as she walked home from high school.
The teen victim was walking about 4 p.m. on Wednesday in the 900 block of Presidio Drive, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.
“A newer black two-door convertible pulled up and parked next to her,” according to a police statement. “The suspect remained in his vehicle and spoke to the victim while exposing his penis to her. The victim ran away and was able to find help. The suspect fled the area.”
A video camera recorded the vehicle being driven in the area.
The suspect was described as being a dark skinned 20- to 30-year-old man with short dark hair.
