Y'al have probably already seen the above video as it's been shared and viewed millions of times.
But for those not in the know, I'll catch you up.
The short haired woman on the left, Linda Dwire, was apparently harassing two Hispanic women because they were speaking Spanish.
One of the women who took the video, Fabiola Velasquez, said Dwire approached her and her friend saying that in the United States you only speak English.
She said Dwire was aggressive and putting her hands in her face.
While the initial confrontation wasn't caught on camera, what followed is what went viral.
Another shopper, Kamira Trent came to the rescue and began arguing with Dwire:
“I’m calling the cops. You leave these women alone. Get out,” Trent is heard yelling at Dwire.
Dwire shouts back, “You come from a generation that’s destroying this country.”
“No I do not. I have respect. You do not harass people,” Trent responds.
“You will lose your country. You know what, you will lose this country,” Dwire says while pointing her finger at Trent.
“You do not harass Hispanic women!” Trent says while walking toward the front of the store with Dwire.
Dwire was later charged with harassment and was released after posting bond.
When interviewed by BuzzFeed News, Dwire claims the interaction wasn't a racist thing, but a "patriotic" thing.
“[Immigrants] rather have their country here. I don’t mind them coming [to the U.S.] as long as they want to be an American and not go on our welfare system. When there are so many people that they don’t learn English, that’s what divides our country.”
