Missing Mother, Daughter From Oklahoma Located

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A woman from Oklahoma with bipolar disorder and her 11-year daughter have been located and are safe after being reported missing last month, police said tonight.

Amanda Kay Key, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and her daughter Haley Marie Vilven were last heard from Sept. 15.

The two had last been seen around 9 p.m. Sept. 16 at a train station in El Monte, LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera told City News Service.

Amanda's father, Steven Jindra, arrived in Los Angeles last week and pleaded for his daughter or granddaughter to call him, and for the public's help in locating them.

He said Amanda was in California for a job interview and may have been trying to take a bus back to Oklahoma from El Monte station after her car broke down.

No information was released about exactly when and where mother and daughter were located.
