Kavanaugh's Classmate: 'I have no knowledge of the party in question'

Mark Judge, the friend of Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh, was allegedly the other male in the room with Christine Blasey Ford when she was sexually assaulted at a high school party in 1982. Judge has denied the incident ever took place. Now, another friend and classmate of Kavanaugh is alleging the same thing.

Patrick J. Smyth is also denying seeing anything that Ford claims took place and is even saying he was never at the party to begin with.

Smyth, who graduated with Kavanaugh from Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, Maryland in 1983, said in a statement,

“I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as ‘PJ’... I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh."

Smyth went on to say that he has known Kavanaugh since high school and believes he is a 'person of great integrity, a great friend,' and has 'never witnessed improper conduct by Kavanaugh towards women.'

Kavanaugh has also denied ever attending the party and claims he never sexually or physically assaulted Ford.
