Southland Gas Prices Rise Slightly

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent today to $3.671, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.

The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 4.4 cents higher than one month ago and 47.8 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 52.1 cents since the start of the year because of higher oil prices.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.613, one day after being unchanged. It is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 5 cents higher than one month ago and 44.1 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 49.7 cents since the start of the year.
