LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.619, one day after increasing three-tenths of a cent to its lowest amount since April 19.
The average price is unchanged from one week ago, 2.2 cents lower than one month ago and 60.5 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 46.8 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose a half-cent to $3.551, one day after increasing four-tenths of a cent. It is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 3.2 cents lower than one month ago but 56.4 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 43.5 cents since the start of the year.
