A man's body, who was suspected to have drowned in the lake in Echo Park, was recently found. Divers have been searching for the man for hours. LAPD Sgt Frank Preciado says the man was among a group who stole pedal boats early this morning. One of the boats flipped and no one saw the man make it to shore.
Divers were able to use sonar equipment and surveillance footage from the nearby recreation center to help their search.
The body found has not been identified.
