LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Mayor Eric Garcetti will host a fundraiser Sept. 25 seeking to raise $100,000 for each of 10 state Democratic parties.
Tickets for the fundraiser benefiting the Democratic Midterm Victory Fund range from $1,000 to $100,000, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service Monday.
The fundraiser will include performances by major artists, an audience of hundreds or more people, including elected officials and state party leaders from the targeted states, according to the invitation.
The state parties benefiting from the fundraiser are California, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The fundraiser was inspired by the political action committee's May event that raised $100,000 for the South Carolina Democratic Party, organizers said.
