2 Cops Caught On Camera Flipping Coin To Arrest Woman

"...These people put my freedom in the hands of a coin flip...that's disgusting." - Sarah Webb

Last April, Officers Courtney Brown and Kristee Wilson of the Roswell Police Department were at a crossroads.  They had pulled over one Sarah Webb for speeding, but couldn't decide whether or not her purported crimes warranted an arrest.

Oh yeah, did I mention that the citing officers didn't even have a radar reading on Webb's speed?

After questioning Ms. Webb, the two also expressed that in addition to not having an actual speed reading, the detainee had a clean driving record.

The officers then returned to their squad car and began discussing their options before finally agreeing that the best choice would be to flip a coin to determine her fate.

Yes.  That's right.  Two police officers flipped a coin to decide whether or not a citizen should be arrested.

In the footage, the two use "A"  for "arrest" and "R" for "release" for heads and tails, respectively.

In an even further sickening turn of events, Ms. Webb would eventually wind up behind bars because of the mishap.
