Paula White, a spiritual adviser to President Trump, offered a biblical defense of Trump's 'zero tolerance' immigration policy.
In an interview, White acknowledged that "Jesus was a refugee" but added:
"It was not illegal. If he had broke the law then he would have been sinful and he would not have been our Messiah."
It's not the first time the Bible has been cited over immigration.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said the Apostle Paul commanded followers to "obey the laws of the government".
