While Democrats aren't happy about President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, but there is one group who's pretty pleased.
Executive Director of the National Rifle Association, Chris Cox says the gun rights group applauds the pick, citing Kavanaugh's "impressive record that demonstrates his strong support for the Second Amendment."
Kavanaugh once wrote a strong dissenting opinion opposing Washington DC's ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms while on the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill also shared his support when he posted a letter on the team's website.
While Bidwell tried to blatantly steer clear of politics...in the letter he says just wanted to let the world know that he and Kavanaugh were high school classmates.
