Get comfortable if you're on the southbound 110 Freeway this morning. A man in his underwear spotted around 8:25 A.M has climbed atop a freeway sign causing a shut down near the Beaudry Avenue exit. The man appears to be holding poster signs up protesting pollution.

Upon close examination, poster signs can be read stating, " Fight pollution not each other," and ``give a hoot, don't pollute.'' The California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department all were present on the scene with an effort to persuade the man to come down.

Giant airbags were deployed below the sign as a precaution. Eventually around 10:00 A.M the man was seen backflipping off of the freeway sign onto the airbag. He was immediately placed on a stretcher and taken away.

Authorities have reportedly reopened freeway lanes.
