Two Firefighters Accused of Making Porn at Ohio Fire Station

Two firefighters in Ohio have been suspended following allegations they filmed several pornographic videos at a firehouse in Akron.

Lt. Arthur Dean and Provisional Lt. Deann Eller were both placed on administrative leave on Monday while the city investigates the allegations against them.

The pair were discovered after a tip pointed authorities to several clips of their steamy sessions at the firehouse online, leading officials to believe the pair produced the porn together at the fire station. At a news conference on Monday, Clarence Tucker, the city's fire chief didn't specify which firehouse served as the set for the porn shoots.

According to people who saw the videos that were allegedly posted to a variety of porn sites, a woman believed to be Eller, appears naked in several videos, working out in a basement gym according to the Akron Beacon-Journal

In a joint press release with the city's fire chief, Mayor Dan Horrigan said the two employees did not work at the same fire station and were known to have had a long-term relationship.

As leaders of this City and this Department, we find these allegations shocking and distressing to say the least. The Akron Fire Department is composed of hundreds of committed first responders who comport themselves with dignity, professionalism, and the highest levels of integrity and dedication in their service to the Akron public," Horrigan wrote.

"These courageous public servants put their lives on the line each and every day to protect the health, safety, and property of Akron citizens and serve as role models of duty and service across our community. These allegations bring unwelcome dishonor and embarrassment to Akron Fire Department and the City of Akron and unfairly discredit the reputation of other Akron Fire officers."

Tucker and Horrigan said the alleged behavior by the pair didn't reflect the values of those who fight fires in their city.

"As Mayor and Fire Chief, we take our responsibility to uphold the public trust extremely seriously, and will never condone or tolerate any behavior that violates that trust. These allegations in no way reflect on the values of the Akron Fire Department or the City, and we are devastated that these allegations would distract from the meaningful and important work being done to keep our citizens safe and keep our neighborhoods strong."

Eller and Dean could face additional discipline, including dismissal if they were found to have broken the city's rules against fraternizing with fellow officers.
