Southland Gas Prices Drop Slightly

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.758, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is seven-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 7.9 cents higher than one month ago and 70.2 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 60.8 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent today after decreasing two-tenths of a cent for three consecutive days. The average price of $3.716 is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, but 7.8 cents more than one month ago and 67.4 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 60 cents since the start of the year.
