LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.766, one day after remaining unchanged.
The average price is at its highest amount on Memorial Day since 2015, and is 1.8 cents more than one week ago, 10.9 cents higher than one month ago and 69.3 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 61.6 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent Monday to $3.734, one day after rising a half-cent. It is also at its highest amount for a Memorial Day since 2015, and is 1.8 cents more than one week ago, 11.4 cents higher than one month ago and 67.2 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 61.8 cents since the start of the year.
