Police in Berlin received a domestic disturbance call from a resident near the Swiss border last week, but not the kind of disturbance call that the officers were used to.
The resident in Loerrach, which is located near the Swiss border with Germany, told authorities that he was concerned about loud shouting coming from his next-door apartment, but when police arrived to the scene they found that of the two involved in the dispute, only one was a human.
According to a report from the Associated Press, the man was in a very heated argument - with a parrot.
The 22-year-old man told police that he had been annoyed by his girlfriend's pet parrot, and that it had been going on for some time now.
The parrot did attempt to defend itself from the shouting man, but police said that since the bird couldn't speak English, he just made loud noises like barking like a dog.
According to the report, no one was hurt between the man-parrot dispute, so the officers left.
