Little Change To Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.748, one day after increasing one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 12.4 cents higher than one month ago and 69.4 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 59.8 cents since the start of the year.

The average price has not changed by more than one-tenth of a cent for four consecutive days.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent today for the third consecutive day after a 13-day streak of increases ended Friday when it was unchanged.

The Orange County average price of $3.716 is 1 cent more than one week ago, 12.7 cents higher than one month ago and 66.9 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 60 cents since the start of the year.
