Southland Gas Prices Rise to Highest Amount Since August 2015

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose four-tenths of a cent today to $3.74, its highest amount since August 2015.

The average price has increased 13 consecutive days, rising 7.8 cents, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.1 cents more than one week ago, 15.1 cents higher than one month ago and 73.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 60 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose five-tenths of a cent to $3.704, its highest amount since August 2015. It is 6.6 cents more than one week ago, 14.5 cents higher than one month ago and 70.5 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 58.8 cents since the start of the year.
