President Donald Trump announced the date and location of his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The president announced that the meeting will take place in Singapore on June 12th in a tweet, just hours after he met three American prisons who were released by North Korea on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews.
Trump said that both leaders will "try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!"

The June meeting will be the first ever between a sitting United States president and a North Korean leader.
