Controversial 'Cord & Tish' to Host Royal Wedding Special

Quick question, hotshot:  Where were you on January 1, 2018?

If you're in Southern California, odds are you took part in (or at least watched) that age-old tradition which has cursed blessed the city of Pasadena for decades - the Rose Parade!

For those who missed Amazon's special coverage of the Tournament of Roses, it was perhaps most remembered for its inclusion of two "new" analysts named Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan.

Not familiar?  Don't worry, bub - we got you!  Check out this clip of their New Year's Day debut:

Well, as most of you could probably tell, Cord and Tish are in reality the brainchildren of veteran comedic actors Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon.

Some people got it.  Some people didn't.

Fortunately, most did get it.  And not only that, they wanted more - eventually starting an online campaign on Twitter to have Amazon reunite the duo to cover the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle:

Well, it appears the Amazon gods heard the prayers, and have announced that the Saturday Night Live alumni will do precisely that with a new special:  "The Royal Wedding Live With Cord and Tish!"

Check out the preview below:

The special, which is produced by Funny or Die, will air live, bright and early on the day of the royal wedding, at 7:30 a.m. ET on May 19. It will run again at 9:45 p.m. ET.
