Southland Gas Prices Keep Rising

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent today to $3.633.

The average price has increased 12 of the past 13 days, rising 5.5 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.4 cents more than one week ago, 10.6 cents higher than one month ago and 58.8 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 48.3 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.596.

The Orange County average price has increased 12 of the past 13 days, rising 5.8 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price is 2.8 cents more than one week ago, 10.5 cents higher than one month ago and 56.4 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 48 cents since the start of the year.
